What is an Intercom System?

An intercom system is a two-way communication which generally connects two parties with the benefit of not connecting global channels. However, there are lots of applications where intercom devices work better than anything else. Some intercom systems have multiple video monitors internally. Given the difficulty of sending video data over the signaled waves at very much distance without interference, most available units are wired in office units. Apartment Intercoms system has a door unit at an entrance door and each flat has either one or multiple units that can communicate to the door and possibly see the visitor, or the door unit rings a landline number. Wired Intercoms are generally used for two or more individuals who are willing to communicate within a secured line. This setup has a main docking station and all the intercoms are connected internally within themselves. Each branch has a separate dial number and you can connect with respective intercom with that special id. Apart from wired intercom, wireless intercom systems are installed where it is generally not possible to run wires. Wireless intercoms have a flexible portability and hence are recommended by us over wired ones.

What are EPBAX systems?

Apart from Intercom systems, systems that perform exactly like intercom but also has an upper hand by communicating outside the intercom environment using global channel are EPBAX systems. These are generally used in offices where you need to communicate inside your office but also need a flexibility to communicate with your clients over their devices which aren't connected to your intercom systems.
